Who We Support

We Provide Financial Support to a Number of Medically Focused Community Organisations in Australia!

Medico Insurance understands the importance of community organisations in Australia that focus on providing medical research. We recognise the hard work and effort that they put into curing our community of disease and illness and this is why we are delighted to support them.

These causes require donations and funds to keep their efforts moving forward. For this reason, we happily donate a portion of our premiums to a select few not for profit organisations that focus oin medical issues.

The following are the local community organizations we currently support:

• Rare Cancers Australia Ltd: A lesser known charitable organisation with the sole aim being to improve awareness, support and treatment of patients with less common and rare cancers in Australia. There are as many as 24,000 deaths every year caused by uncommon cancers and Rare Cancers Australia works determinedly to improve the outcomes and lives of patients.
• Headaches Australia: Chronic headaches and migraines are slowly becoming common and have a number of economic, personal and social disadvantages for the community. However, both these neurological disorders have remained underfunded in Australia for a long time. Headaches Australia aims to deliver better outcomes for patients by supporting research and providing valuable information about the proper management of headaches.
• Emerge Australia Inc, (formerly ME/CFS–Association–of–Australia–Ltd): A registered charitable organisation that aims to provide support and information to those affected by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), also referred to as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), and related illnesses, to promote awareness about the ailment within scientific communities and the general public. They also support research for the development of a treatment for ME/CFS.

Our efforts don’t end here though! In addition to helping these community organisations, Medico Insurance Services is always looking to provide support to other medically focused community organisations.
